About GOD:

• God created the universe and everything in it. He is all-powerful, eternal, loving and just.
• We believe in the Holy trinity – God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are One.
• Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He died and rose from the dead and He is Lord! –
• We believe that Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life and no one can see God except through Him

About the BIBLE:

• The Bible is the Word of God and it was written by men who were inspired by God.
• We believe that the Bible is fit for instruction, direction, correction and doctrine.

About CHRISTIANITY:

• hristianity is about having a personal relationship with God, which involves putting one’s complete faith and trust in God through Jesus Christ and obediently submitting to His will.
• We believe in the Great Commandment (to love God and to love your neighbor as yourself) and the Great Commission (to make disciples for Jesus Christ)
• We believe in the power of Prayer and “the Good fight of Faith.” God is faithful and he answers prayers.
• Christianity is a lifestyle of commitment to following the discipline of Jesus Christ and requires one to be disciplined in the study of God’s Word, prayer, fellowship with other Christians and serving them in love.
• Christians are not perfect.

About PEOPLE:

• Every person is a special creation of God and is loved by God unconditionally.
• Christ died for all people and we exist in order to serve one another by showing the same unconditional love.
• Every Christian is a child of God who is gifted for service in the church. We have been gifted to serve one another.
• We would like to help every person in YSBC to fully develop in their spiritual gifts and attain the maturity of Christ.
